The Antichrist has been located and identified using the clues given by the Apostle John the Revelator.
Spoiler alert: Just so you know, Donald Trump, Barack Obama, or Joe Biden are NOT the Antichrist.
The Antichrist is easily identified and located. “He” has been right in front of our eyes this whole time. The Apostle John pointed “him” out nearly 2000 years ago. How has this mysterious player in the Book of Revelation been able to hide in plain sight for so long? Could the answer be we didn’t recognize the obvious because we’ve all been hoodwinked? Let’s recall what the Apostle Paul told Timothy:
2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.“
Read that passage closely. Paul is telling us in the last days “Christians” will refuse to hear the true doctrine. They will seek preachers who teach them doctrines that make them feel good about themselves (like prosperity doctrines). He calls these teachings fables.
Is what we’ve been taught about “The Antichrist” one of these fables?
Haven’t we been told these things about “The Antichrist”:
- Is Satan in human form, also known as “The Man of Sin and The Son of Perdition.”
- Appears sometime during Daniel’s 70th week. The last seven years before Jesus returns.
- It will rule as a good leader of a One World Government at first, then He turns bad.
- It creates a cashless monetary system.
- He’ll perform great signs, miracles and wonders.
- He will make a peace plan with the Jews and help them build the 3rd Temple and allow animal sacrifices again.
- Then He breaks the deal and destroys the Temple.
- He begins to persecute Christians and Jews.
- He makes everyone bear His 666 mark on their foreheads or right hand. Not allowing anyone to buy or sell without it.
- He sets up an image like statue and makes it talk.
We know so much about “The Antichrist.”
But, there’s a problem, A BIG PROBLEM.
When you take a closer look at “The Antichrist” you’ll discover something surprising. “The Antichrist” is never mentioned in the Book of Revelation. IN FACT there are NO SCRIPTURES anywhere in the Bible speaking about “The Antichrist” being a particular person coming on the scene in the Last days.
Ask yourself, “If the Antichrist is everything (and more), outlined above, how is this integral figure not mentioned even once by Jesus in his final report about the end of time, the Book of Revelation?”
Especially in this verse: Rev:20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” You’ll notice there’s NO MENTION of “The Antichrist” joining them. WHY?
Simply stated: There is no such person called “The Antichrist”.
I challenge you to prove me wrong. Send your proof scriptures to me using my contact form so I can acknowledge my mistake and publicly apologize and delete this article.
I know what you’re thinking: “But but your headline says you’ve identified the Antichrist and its location!”
I have indeed.
The term “antichrist” only shows up four times in the Bible. All Four times written by the Apostle John. Considering John was the disciple Jesus chose to dictate the Book of Revelation to, it’s easy to assume John knows the most on the subject. But John never mentions “The End Times person called The Antichrist.” He paints a totally different picture. Let’s examine his writings.
FIRST TIME: 1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
We read in this verse that John believes he is living in the end times, and “antichrist” will not only soon come, but says THERE ARE MANY ANTICHRISTS already there. Whaaaaa? Here’s your first clue that “Antichrist” isn’t a person.
SECOND TIME: 1 John 2:22-23 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Now John is telling us what Antichrist is, anyone who denies Jesus is the Son of God, or that God is the Father, is a liar and a what? An antichrist.
THIRD TIME: 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Now John tells of the spirits denying Jesus Christ was God in the flesh are the spirit of antichrist. Many are there then, and more to come.
FORTH TIME: 2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Last point I want to make before I answer the question “Who is the Antichrist.” I want you to notice John never once capitalized the letter “A” in antichrist. This is a significant clue. Why? Because he’s not identifying it as a person. It’s a thing.
The question should be:
“What is antichrist?”
The “antichrist” is an evil spirit
that possesses and controls people.
It’s the UNHOLY SPIRIT!
BUT, there is ONE particular person in history
who is possessed by the spirit of antichrist
who IS mentioned in the Book of Revelation
(and throughout the Bible)
Is a Deceiver
Personifies Satan
Performs Miracles & Great Wonders
Arrives on the White horse of the Apocalypse
Persecutes Jews and Christians
Creates a False religion, false doctrine and false calendar
Sets up a temple in the Holy Place
(the Temple mount in Jerusalem)
Raises up the
7th & 8th Beasts of Revelation
and its 666 Mark
He is called
“The False Prophet”
AND
His identity is well known, but hidden in plain sight
UNTIL NOW!

I just found your site and I find it interesting that you say the antichrist isn’t a person. I grew up in a church that ruled by fear and as a child, I’d spend many nights trying to imagine what this antichrist might look like, based on the scary skits the church put on to scare us to Jesus. Then as an adult, remembering the things I read in the bible, I began to realize you won’t recognize the end times going by the scare tactics used against you or your childhood imaginings, no matter how real they felt. Earlier this year, as I meditated on the word and reflecting on our current conversation, I began to realize, the antichrist isn’t a man, it seemed more like a system. An ideology ? an organized situation? we’re already talking about a cahless society, they’re shutting the churches down, a peace agreement has been worked out in the middle east. This should be interesting.
If you have never been to the Middle-East you must understand that the peace treaties going on there now are in the interest of peace over the evil of Iran. In that part of the world, those nations that are entering into the peace treaties are concerned about the threat of Iran – or as they are known there as Persia.
Iran’s religious leaders are looking for a “Prophet” to come whom I believe is being refer to here. Dig it up. I spent over 3 years working in that area during the 8 years war and just after the Gulf war. Saudi has a strong military defense system in place for security against Iran.
It’s the (new and improved) Democrat party. Their entire platform is contrary to Christianity.

A comment you make says antichrist will release the four horsemen. This is not Biblical. The seals can only be broken by the lamb (Son of the Living God) Jesus Christ. The antichrist has no power to release the “four horsemen”.

Mohammed, the prophet of Islam, is the False Prophet. And Allah is the Beast (likely a real evil demonic entity, because he is literally going to be thrown into the lake of fire with Satan and Mohammed (false prophet).
I’m going to try and work out what the restrainer is, and I’m asking God for his discernment, not my own cleverness.

Daniel chapter 11 starting with verse 35 or 36.
You’re confusing “The Antichrist” which is a spirit, with the man who is the False Prophet (who is possessed by antichrist).
The beasts in Daniel and the two beasts in Revelation represent both kings and their kingdoms. Dan.7:17 The Antichrist is not just spirit, though he is given power from Satan. If you were to watch Mark Woodman’s video, “Who is the Antichrist”, you would discover 21 points from the Bible that identify the Antichrist, the person and his kingdom. The early Protestants were right about his identity. He is the papacy and his kingdom is Vatican City politically, but the Roman Catholic Church religiously. Watch this video to end the speculation and confirm the truth.
In as much as we should pay attention to previous revelation of what scripture says the Beast is. We must also however, pay attention to what the angel that was assigned to John said coz it did interpret some of these things.
Revelation 13:1-4
13 And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. 2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. 4 Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?”
The beast has several characteristics one of it is in verse 3 `one of its seven heads seems to have a fatal wound and it healed.`
Revelation 17:6-11
6 I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished. 7 Then the angel said to me: “Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast she rides, which has the seven heads and ten horns. 8 The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because he once was, now is not, and yet will come. 9 “This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. 10 They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for a little while. 11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

The angle that was assigned to John said the 7 heads (of the Beast) are also 7 Kings – see verse 10. The head that was wounded and healed in Rev 13 is clearly a King that is a person.
Revelation 13:11-18
11 Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. 12 He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. 14 Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.

Verse 12 identifies identifies the first beast as the beast whose head was wounded. This King is also a Beast – See Daniel 2
Daniel 2:36-38
36 “This was the dream, and now we will interpret it to the king. 37 You, O king, are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory; 38 in your hands he has placed mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds of the air. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.
NIV
In Daniel 2:38 the head of Gold is clearly identified as King Nebuchadnezzar, yet the Head of Gold is the Lion in Daniel 7 identified as Babylonian Kingdom. Rev 17 says the 7 heads are 7 hills upon the woman sits and they are also 7 kings. A hill is a Kingdom.
The kingdom and its king are inseparable they are a beast.
Rev 13 we are told that the 2nd Beast performed false wonders and signs deceiving them to worship the first beast whose wound has been healed. This very same words are mentioned in Rev 19
Revelation 19:19-20
19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

The beast is thrown into the lake of fire. The question how can a kingdom a geographical space the thrown into the lake of fire?
Revelation 20:10-15
10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Sinners, Devil, false prophet and the beast are cast in the lake of fire i.e. Gehenna. The beast thrown here cant be a kingdom but its king.
Anti-christ is a sprit that very correct, and it posses people and it is such person that deny that Christ come in the flesh.

All these are endowed with the spirit of anti-christ. Satan empowers the Beast and the beast gave its power to the false prophet. They have10 kings with the (10 horns of the first beast) all these received are ant-christs.
So when scripture identifies a single person say the man of sin he is still anti-christ because he will oppose the Christ because of the spirit he has. He is a son of his father the Devil.
its just a matter of semantics here which does not change anything. The meaning remains the same. The false prophet is not the king of the Kingdom referred to so all leaders of that kingdom have the same spirit. Those who receive the mark of the beast and worship the dragon and the beast have the same spirit.
Scripture is simply driving the point home not all antichrist will force people to worship the beast or receive the mark, but it is one among many that will do so the false prophet.

I’m going to approve this reply because you did a pretty good job trying to explain your point. Unfortunately you pick and choose what verses of Revelation are literal versus symbolic, when in fact the whole book uses symbolism to describe the players and events. As to how “The Beast” be thrown into the Lake of Fire if it isn’t “A person”, you’ll need to point out USING SCRIPTURE, where ANY of the previous 6 beasts are described as a person, and why would this rule be changed for the 7th and 8th beasts? Without doing that, your opinion is PURE SPECULATION, and voided. I await your proof texts.
BTW – The head wound was the Islamic Army’s (7th beast) defeat at the Battle of Tours. Several hundred years later it was revived (as the 8th and final Beast) by the wealth brought to it by Oil discovered throughout its territory.

Can I put my two cents in here? Well I think that The Dragon is Satan and it is the Spirit of Satan that enter into a man called the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet to do his bidding on the earth. We live in the United States and it is a system that we as American live by. The President of the United States represent our American System. He speaks in behalf of Americans across the rest of the world. He represent us and our American value. So our President represent American and speak for us to other nations around the world. Well so one Beast will be the system at that time, but the other Beast will be the political leader at the top of this system who speaks in behalf of that System. Who will be the Anti-Christ. At this time, this system and the Anti-Christ will be so powerful and so successful that the people will be saying who can make war against who, the Anti-Christ and the government system. But people will wondered about the Anti-Christ. But the False Prophet will be sent and empower by Satan. The False prophet will performed many miracles that people have never seen in their life time. Those miracles will convinced the people of the world at that time that he is the true Prophet of God. Then the False Prophet will point to the Anti-Christ to be the Son of God and his Father he will say is God. Who really will be the Dragon. So people will worship the Dragon (SATAN) believing that they are worshipping God Almighty. Some believe the Anti-Christ will be killed and be raised from the dead to show he has power over death like Jesus. This is when this system or empire spread around the world. This also when the mark of beast comes in and no one can buy or sell and all hell break out upon all people who do not accept the mark and so on. But at this time the CHURCH and been rapture up. So all hell will break out doing this 7 years period.
Truth about Islam

They say you can pay the penalty, or tax, and not convert, but they will enslave you and eventually kill you anyway. That is the reality of ISLAM. Not what our Fascist Liberal Democrats who suffer from Islamophalia say. Our Liberals are cowards and will be killed in just as many numbers. How about this part that every Christian leaves out:
The part where Jesus says, once I am gone you will all go back to being the way you were…
If you read the New Testament… that is exactly what the apostles did… they went back to being the way they were… their reasoning skills Christ was teaching them seemed to evaporate and they began doing things the same way they did before Jesus showed them anything.
Jesus taught them to question and reason. He taught them to think for themselves and not be afraid. He said that if we read the entire bible we would know the truth from a lie… and the Bible has many lies placed there by the hands of men… and he is right you can see them clearly.
What about being angry and keeping God as the One True God? And all the things we can accomplish with the God of the mountain which is also the God of the valley?
Of all the miracles God preformed… why do we have to believe Christ was a virgin birth for his words to have meaning??? The original texts had nothing to do with a virgin birth??? And why did the leaders kill Christ for pointing out Psalms 82:6?
Why has no one ever questions the apostles?
Especially when Jesus specifically said we should.

I don’t believe Jesus was virgin born. Nor do I believe he was the “only son of God”. I believe even the worst of us are the children of God most High. I do believe God created us all. I do believe God wants a very real very true relationship with each one of us. I believe he is capable of that. I do believe we are more powerful than other humans want us to believe.
Perhaps maybe I am an antichrist…
Or perhaps I am a true follower of Christ.
No maybe about it, by your own words you meet the very description of what John called antichrist. Good luck with that.
In 2 Timothy 3:16 Paul tells us the Word was inspired by God, profitable for teaching, rebuking, for correcting, for training..etc. When a person has a spiritual born again experience, it is like a veil opens up and scriptures start to make sense. People say it is contradicting, but don’t remember different people like the disciples and apostils, writing in their own ways, and each writes a different way and style. The word “inspired”, comes from the word theopenustos, meaning “God breathed out” by God. You know you ought to look up the word Laminin, for that is a molecule that holds our bodies together, all the atoms, and all in our bodies. Here in the last years, the Bible does say that knowledge increases, and that is so true, but a lot of people increase it by books and digging until they are satisfied with knowledge. The don’t ask God to show them this knowledge, they do it on their own and that is where satan (will not capitalize his name, he don’t deserve it), and his minions try to confuse you (spiritual warfare). You will find the more you try to seek God, the more you will have different thoughts or problems finding your answers, because he will do anything to keep you in the state you are now, meaning the mindset. He DOES NOT want you to find GOD. You say perhaps you are an anti-christ, but if you really were, you would not say perhaps. You sound like you have a lot of questions about everything, I did too. The antichrist is also called “the beast”, the son of perdition etc. of course he nd his end are mentioned the Book of Revelation. , please do your homework and get rapture ready: thank JESUS for paying for your sins on the cross and HIS resurrection on the 3rd day!!! Please post ANY scripture that says the antichrist is called “the beast” or “the Son of perdition.” When you can’t find one, you need to come back here and say “I’m sorry, you’re right, I was only speculating based on what I’ve been taught by false prophets.”

Just so we are clear anyichrist is mentioned upto 22 times between old and new testament . I was forced as a child to read the Bible as punishment more then 3 or 4 or 7 times. I have always understood antichrist to not be a person but a spirit to possess. So great article of your hypothesis but ill stick to my beliefs

For anyone interested in looking at other thoughts, there are two different references to antichrist. One is of a spirit of antichrist, with a little “a”, of those that are essentially anti god. This is an over all idea of several that denounce God, His ways and His teachings, like atheists are considered “antichrist” little a. I think this is the one the article expounds on. There is also reference to the Antichrist, capital “A”, that is the person that embodies evil and copies Christ because of his intense hatred of Christ and desire to be Christ.
(2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) (3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
This is just one section of bible but it might help get you started on researching other possabilities.
If you think there is a reference to a capitalized “Antichrist” post it. I’d love to see it. Secondly, the verses in Thess are talking about a man who is the False Prophet. People often mistakenly call him “The Antichrist.”
I’ve been reading a book called, “Rethinking Revelation” by Loren Brink. It’s a verse by verse study and it’s truly the best interpretation I’ve read yet. You both have similar teachings about the book, and it makes more sense then so many others out there right now. Thanks for sharing.
1 John 2 18 mentions anti-Christ and antichrists. Yes, there are many antichrists and there is an antichrist spirit in the world. John said that there are already antichrists in the world but that one in particular is coming. The anti-Christ is Satan’s counterfeit for the Son of God and therefore he must be an individual. You must understand this or you may be confused or worse, deceived when he appears. This individual is identified by over 30 titles in the Bible. Here are some:
The lawless one, the beast, man of sin, little horn, the Assyrian, seed of the serpent, the cruel one, the prince that shall come, etc.
So, yes, you are right that there are many antichrists in the world, but in the end, they will follow the evil chief prince who will be defeated by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in the end.
I thought the first beast was the Roman Catholic Church with the Pope being an antichrist and the second beast was the USA but after reading many of Pastor Cortez teachings I am sure he is correct. There is no specific day of worship post the resurrection. Christ became the Sabbath making everyday the Sabbath. Worship anytie you want and all the time you want.
It isn’t that big of a deal, to call the ‘man of sin,’ ‘son of perdition’ the antichrist. I calls him the ‘Great antichrist’ because he outshines all the other antichrists of the world.
The antichrist is really anyone against christ. The reality is all religion was created with the intent to deceive and control. The belief in god and satan is a creation of man’s desires. There are millions of gods, goddesses and satans within religion. Save yourselves instead of depending on a false god to save you. Humanity is the most powerful beings on the planet due to our ability to learn, grow and change. No one has the power to take choice away unless you give power to do so.
Tammy- Jesus said “everyday should be a Sabbath”- you are to worship Jesus everyday. Bringing in “legalism” is not good- God is against that. Jesus also says not to stumble others because of what they eat, nor the day they worship, etc. Just follow the Lord, our Savior. Read the Bible to know truth. Share with others that are lost- period. That is our job- to share the gospel!
The Bible most certainly DOES speak of the Antichrist as a human. The Antichrist is the Beast and everything said about the Beast is a human description. It is the False Prophet, whoever that will be, who make people where the mark of the Beast, OR the NAME of the Beast, OR the number of his name! The Bible tells us the Beast is boastful, a liar, he gets revenge. People need to read the actual words in the Bible and not rely on someone telling them what the Bible says. Go read it for yourselves. Also, it’s ludicrous to think any pope is going to rule the world. He doesn’t even have a real army. That’s not to say there won’t be an evil pope just like virtually ALL TV Evangelical preachers are evil. They preach that God wants us to be rich and have worldly goods. Be careful who you listen to. Read for yourselves.
1 John 2:22-23 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Now John is telling us what Antichrist is, anyone who denies Jesus is the Son of God, or that God is the Father, is a liar and a what? An antichrist.
THIRD TIME: 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
