Should a Christian get the COVID Vaccine?

A lot of hype is being spread about this COVID vaccine. The part that disturbs me the most is the claim that Bill Gates is behind it. Many are saying that Bill Gates is the antiChrist. I’m going to be honest; I don’t trust Bill Gates. I also don’t trust flu shots. But, is Bill Gates really the antiChrist? Is this flu shot really the Mark of the Beast? Is the shot we are hearing about actually designed by Bill Gates? To find the truth we must rely on scripture.

Revelation 13:16

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:”

I’ve been concerned about this Mark for a long time. When grocery stores started using bar codes I was told that eventually the bar code would be put on our wrist or forehead then used to track us. We would all be forced to choose a bar code or be denied the right to purchase food. One article I remember reading (probably in the late eighties) was that all credit card numbers had the number 666 in them.

Recently we have been told that we can be tracked using the retinas in our eyes. All they need to do is have cameras that can detect that. I can now choose to use my retina instead of my finger print to access my cell phone. Are we being tracked that way? The vaccine theory gets even scarier though. According some accounts I have read, some claim a miniature chip is inserted into the vaccine. Once you receive the vaccine you are immediately marked. Another account stated that the vaccine can change the DNA of your blood. Basically it will make your entire body traceable. Is any of this be true?

Revelation 13:16

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:”

The first 3 words of this verse “And he causeth”. We need to know WHO “HE” is.

καὶ ποιέω πάντας

If you were reading the original Greek you would see those 3 words. The first word works just like our English word “and”. The third Greek word “pantas” means all; however it is more specific. It doesn’t mean all of the whole world. It refers to all of the people mentioned in Chapter 13. We MUST know who “He” is and who “they” is.

ποιέω is simply defined as “to make or to do”. The translators threw in the word “he” because they are assuming that is the context. In my view it should read “and IT causeth” or they could have been more specific and said “and the Beast causeth”.

So who is this Beast?

When I was in college I knew several people who were experts on the “Last Days”. We were just coming out of the Cold War. In Those days most would tell you that the Soviets were Gog/Magog. The hype about Russia being the Beast was widespread. Others have said it is the Catholic Church. Some say it is Europe. Another more recent group is claiming that the USA is the Beast. Problem is; scripture describes the “beasts” as evil empires, not persons. The Beast that causeth this mark is the reunified Lion, Bear, and Leopard beasts. That Lion, Bear, and Leopard are mentioned in Daniel. They define the region of Islam. So this mark in Rev 13 is not speaking of a world wide mark. It’s a Mark given to people in a specific region.

So no, this vaccine is not the Mark of the Beast; scripture shows it isn’t.

So what about this vaccine? Can we trust it? Instead of trying to prove that it is the “mark” mentioned in Rev 13. Clearly; it is NOT! We need to do better research. When in the Marines; I was given several vaccines. I’m not being tracked because of them. I haven’t lost my Salvation because of those vaccines either. Admittedly, I haven’t received a flu vaccine in years. Why? Because every time I have; I’ve gotten sick. I don’t believe they work for me.

Like a broken record people have pointed things out as the Mark of the Beast; yet, none of these claims have been accurate. As I read the claims that the vaccine is the Mark I say to myself, ”here we go again!” We are in a Spiritual War though and the Beast mentioned in Revelation 13 isn’t the only Beast Satan uses for his evil. He’s got a whole system.

1 Peter 5:8

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

That’s right! Satan is active in the entire world. His time is short. Don’t let your guard down. He will use anything and everything to prevent you from placing your faith, hope, and trust in Jesus Christ. Satan hates all of us. He is jealous of all of us and wants all of us to fail. Since his fall; he has had the same plan. He tries to control the world.

But what about a COVID vaccine? It is wise to question it. It is wise to research about it. Just because it’s not the Mark of the Beast doesn’t mean that it can be trusted. When it comes to anything from the government we do need to be skeptical.

So much has been said about the Covid. We’re told to wear masks. We are told how many people we can have in our homes. It is hard to differentiate motive. Are they (the government), trying to control COVID or are they trying to control us. I want to protect myself and others from COVID but we do have people with agendas trying to control us. For this we do need to stay guarded. Today’s narrative is:

DON’T QUESTION JUST FOLLOW THE ORDERS!!!

We need to question everything. There is nothing wrong with questioning authority. If we don’t question everything; Satan’s minions will take advantage. Satan’s tactics are lying, cheating, and stealing. He has minions such as Bill Gates who are capable of using a vaccine or other tools as a way to attempt manipulation and control this world.

Isaiah 41:10

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Every where we look we see someone with a message of fear. We are to fear the COVID! of Biden! of Trump of the Government! We are to fear antiChrist! the Beast! vaccines! Fear is everywhere. Fear of the world is not how God wants us to live!

Proverbs 3:5,6

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

One day I several years ago I was working with a consultant. I told him about some issues that were brought to me by some employees. These issues were disturbing. The consultant asked me a strange question. He asked, ”What phrase is on the Dollar Bill?” I asked, ”are you speaking of the phrase “In God We Trust?” He replied, “Yes; I trust in God; all others must bring proof!”

Matthew 14:27
“But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”

In this passage Disciples were facing a dangerous storm when Jesus appeared to them and said “DON’T BE AFRAID!!!” It’s easy not to be afraid during the calm before a storm. When the storm hits, people panic. We are currently in a storm. When it comes to these vaccines; before getting one; get all of the facts. Questions like: Are they being given by a source I can trust? Sorry, I don’t trust Gates. Is he the one behind these vaccines though? Get all of the facts. Pray about it. Don’t trust people to make your decisions; ask God to show you.

Again, before you say; don’t take the vaccine, get all your facts first. At this point, there aren’t enough facts. More importantly, if you dive deep scripture you will find that Satan has made many attempts to destroy us. The vaccine wouldn’t be his first attempt. It is wise to stay guarded about it and many other things. It’s important to be well versed on this topic. That’s the way you can know and understand everything about the Mark of the Beast and all of the other marks scripture addresses.
